Extension Consultation

Mike and Fiona's project involved the construction of their entire home, which they later purchased. Initially, the design featured box rooms, but we worked together to reimagine the space as open-plan living with a structural wall dividing the area and bi-fold doors on either side.

Extension Design

The design focused on symmetry, with open-plan living on the ground floor, two double bedrooms on the first floor with ensuites, and two additional double bedrooms on the second floor, also with ensuites. A striking glass stairway ran through the middle of the house, adding to the modern aesthetic.

“Fantastic from our first meeting!”
- Mike & Fiona

We built a new build home with a rear extension on a vacant plot from start-to-finish. We created open-plan living on the ground floor, two double bedrooms on the first floor with en-suites, and two additional double bedrooms on the second floor, also with en-suites.

Extension Construction

For the foundation, we utilized piling and a floating concrete slab (raft). The construction followed a traditional cavity wall build with a brick face and slate roof. Additionally, we incorporated an internal garage into the design. The kitchen featured top-of-the-line carrion worktops, and the entire house boasted a high-end finish.

Delivery of Extension

The project was completed within approximately 12 months and was instantly sold to Mike and Fiona. The meticulous attention to detail and high-quality finish ensured that their dream home was everything they had envisioned.
